Vice President, National Intelligence Systems

Gary Testut is the Vice President of the National Intelligence Systems mission area within the National Defense strategic business unit at Ball Aerospace. In this role, Testut leads the team responsible for all aspects of business capture, execution and growth to meet the requirement of customers within the national intelligence space community. 

Prior to joining Ball Aerospace in Colorado, Testut worked in Washington, D.C. as Ball’s Director of Defense and Intelligence Programs. He has also previously served as Vice President of Government Relations at BAE Systems, representing the business interests of the companies to senior government leaders and customers.  

Testut retired from the United States Air Force in 2009 after serving 20 years in a variety of acquisition, intelligence and space-related assignments. He was a liaison between the Pentagon and the U.S. Congress as Special Assistant for Space, Intelligence and Cyber Programs in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. His experience in the capitol region began in 1998 and included work as a legislative liaison at the National Reconnaissance Office. Testut served as a test director and chief systems engineer during his time in the Air Force.
